Interview 1: Dr. Hall
Interview 2: Lana Raines(Mom)
Interview 3: Alderman/ Vice Mayor Walter Burnett

The first person I interviewed about this topic is Dr. Hall. Dr. Hall has had a substantial amount of experience teaching in many underserved areas in the South, specifically Texas. He told me that he has had many students who were facing food insecurity, and only relied on school provided meals. He also said that being hungry prevented students from reaching their fullest potential in the classroom.

The second person I interviewed was Lana Raines, who is also my mom. She is a volunteer at a local food pantry. She explained to me how the food pantry operates. People or families can get in touch with the pantry directly or through different programs. The pantry will make a grocery store like setting where people can come shop and grab whatever and as much as they need.
